As the showers fall, I see us standing in the hurricane

Your lips give way to a river as the melodies flow like water

I hear you say "I love you" as the water clears my eyes, & I see your beautiful smile

Like sunshine in the middle of the storm

As the water falls to your lips, love falls with it...

My arms wrap around you, and you shift, so that you fit perfectly in them

The storm around us intensifies with each second

Trees are rooted up, Cars overturned, Windows shatter, pavements break with the concrete

Yet the spot we stand in, is quiet

I hear every word you speak, and every beat of your heart

We stand in the eye of the storm

Peaceful with each other

When we close our eyes, I hear the winds pick up and the crashes get louder

Then I kiss you, and all hell breaks loose

When we open our eyes, we realize that the tempest is a result of our love

The world responds to our passion with anarchy, because it does not understand the love we have

It identifies with our love's ability to crush & simultaneously create, so it attempts to imitate..

Only to fall short of the essence of where we draw from

By ourselves we cause showers, but together, we take the world by carnage, causing dark clouds and typhoons

Too bad for the rest of the world, that I love you so much

They'll just have to get used to residing in chaos...

Cuz not loving u is far from my thoughts
