A Bridegroom and His Bride

I am forever a son of the King

I am the head of my household

I am a king

My wife is a queen, my personal favorite queen

She knows how to make me feel like a man in every way

If a man cannot feel like a man, then what does he feel like? The garbage you willfully toss never to see again?

Likewise, if a woman cannot feel like a woman, then what does she feel like? An unwanted trinket for someone’s useless imagination and unwanted game of choice?

My wife makes me feel like I am worth more than treasure, because I am

This makes me so much more inclined to treat her like the queen she is, more valuable than any pirate’s discovery…

And when I treat her like a queen, she is so much more inclined to treat me like the king I am

God is not mocked

His wisdom surpasses all understanding

Marriage is made for a reason

It is intended to give us a chance to understand how to treat our husband

As human beings, we do have a husband

Are we not the church, the bride of Christ?

Are we not the glory of the Lord?

Do we not make up his crown?

According to my life’s guide, a man that loves his wife, loves himself

Also, a man must love his wife, even as Christ loves the church

Did Christ not die for the church?

Likewise, I would die for my bride

And so should any man who calls himself a bridegroom

In a marriage, a man and his wife should whole-heartedly attempt to mirror the relationship between Christ and the church

After all, isn’t this the perfect image of a bridegroom and his bride?

Jesus is the head of the church, and rules the church, but He has a great love for the church.

The church makes their requests known to Him and because of His love He considers the church and makes the best decision for her

This relationship is a complementary one

The ultimate husbandman is God

The bridegroom is Jesus, who loved and still loves His bride

Therefore we must also as men love our brides

And also as this good book says, the brides must submit themselves to their husbands

Just as the church submits herself to Christ

I can only feel sorrow and hope when I look at how many women do not understand how to be a good girlfriend or a good wife…

A good woman is one that, among other things, knows how to treat a man, and a good man is one that, among other things, knows how to treat a woman

People wonder how so many times a man will have a gorgeous girl and turn away from her, settling for a girl who is, by the world’s standards, less beautiful?

Many times, it is because the so called gorgeous girl doesn’t know how to make her man feel like a man, but someone else does…

Ladies, treat your man like a man should be treated

Fellas, treat your woman like a woman should be treated

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

(He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (1 John 4:8)

Love God and let Him be your teacher above all, for only He is perfect…go in love
